Beginning his professional career in his native Finland with TPS, goaltender Antero Niittymaki was drafted by Philadelphia in 1998. The Finn tied the NHL record for most consecutive wins against a single team, and ended his NHL career with single seasons with San Jose and Tampa Bay. This photo-matched San Jose Sharks jersey was worn by Niittymaki during the 2011 Stanley Cup playoffs. Goalie Style and size “58” tagging appears along the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic Sharks textured team crest, “30” is sewn to the chest, sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The Sharks 20th anniversary crest is situated beneath the numbers on the left sleeve. Exhibiting moderate game-use, there is a large stick mark over the front and a few marks to the sleeves, with a few tiny holes over the left elbow. Getty Image #112618705 (April 19, 2011 Game 3 Western Conference Quarterfinals) has been matched to the washed-out marks directly beneath the team crest, with particularities to the numbers on the right sleeve also matching. The team patch resides on the inside hem, and it denotes "Stanley Cup Playoffs", with use from April 11, 2011 to May 25, 2011.
