Recognized by his league-leading beard, Brent Burns was drafted by Minnesota in 2003 and spent his first six NHL seasons with the club before moving-on to San Jose. Capturing the coveted James Norris in 2017, Burns has appeared in six All-Star Games, and is currently with Carolina. From his third-last season in San Jose, we have a photo-matched Sharks alternate captain's jersey worn by Burns in 2019-20. “58” sizing appears along the Adidas collar band, with NHL and Adidas crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic Sharks textured team crest, “88” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. A Sharks "2" decal is also screened near the collar. Exhibiting great game use with team repairs to each sleeve along with an unrepaired hole near the left elbow, there are also a few additional small holes and fabric pulls. Getty Image #1180569029 (Oct 10, 2019) has been matched to the team repair directly beneath the striping band on the right sleeve, with the small hole to the left and the fabric pull above the band both visible. Additionally, Getty Image #1183771821 (Oct 25, 2019) has been matched to the team repair directly beneath the striping band on the right sleeve.
