Simply unable to be played without it, the puck has been synonymous with the game of hockey since the very beginning. Offered here, is this collection of NHL and IIHF signed and unsigned puck collection of thirty-four (34). Featuring the signatures of some of the best to ever compete for Lord Stanley’s coveted cup, the pucks are a mix of official game and souvenir varieties with those signed by deceased HOFers consisting of Guy Lafleur (5 cups and years inscription), Maurice Richard, Stan Mikita, Bobby Hull (“The Golden Jet” inscription), Harry Howell (HOF 1979 inscription), Gump Worsley and Rod Gilbert while pucks signed by HOFers still with us include Jacques Lemaire, Lanny McDonald, Darryl Sittler, Frank Mahovlich, Phil Esposito, Dave Keon, Eddie Giacomin, Steve Shutt, Glenn Hall and Mike Gartner (shows some fading). All the autographs are signed in either silver or gold ink with the autographs and pucks all remaining in excellent condition unless noted otherwise above. Other signed pucks include those from Vyacheslav Starshinov, Paul Henderson, John Ferguson Sr., Joe Juneau, Bill Berg, The Hanson Brothers and Alexander Daigle with one Leafs puck showing a signature that was unable to be identified. Unsigned pucks include various souvenir offerings from the HHOF, 2000 NHL All-Star Game and 1st game at the Air Canada Centre with random slugs included as well. For the signed baseballs, a Ken Griffey Jr. OAL Gene Budig ball is included and highlights the group with the autograph signed in blue ballpoint pen and showing well despite some light fading while the ball shows even light toning and no other wear. A Willie Stargell signed ONL Bart Giamatti ball is the last notable signed offering with the ball uneven toning and a green coloured mark over the Rawlings stamp with the Stargell auto in good condtion, having been signed in blue ballpoint pen with just light fading observed. A final signed Rawlings OAL Gene Budig ball is included but the signature is unable to be identified while unsigned versions from the 1993 All-Star Game as well as the 1993, 1994 and 2000 World Series’ are also included along with another OAL Bobby Brown ball with some of the mentioned offerings still in original or replacement boxes with all showing just light-to-moderate toning/staining. Lastly, various media information sheets from Leafs games at Maple Leaf Gardens dating between 1975 and 1993 are also included, with many in good condition but showing some light handling wear.
