Always able to pique the interest of vintage collectors and often regarded as a favourite when it comes to pre-war offerings, the 1933-34 World Wide Gum Ice Kings V357 set featured the best names of the era. Featuring almost half of the checklist, up for grabs here is this collection of thirty-four (34) 1933-34 World Wide Gum Ice Kings V357 offerings with all being the English only back examples. Led by a group of eleven (11) cards freshly graded and received back from PSA headquarters, the contingent is led by the cards of HOFers Aurele Joliat (VG 3), Ace Bailey (RC – VG-EX 4), Howie Morenz (VG 3) and Joe Primeau (RC – EX 5) with others joining them including the cardboard of HOFers Bill Cook (RC - VG-EX 4), Harold Oliver (RC – VG-EX 4), Red Horner (RC – VG-EX+ 4.5), Marty Barry (RC – VG 3), Babe Seibert (RC – VG 3), Dit Clapper (RC – VG 3) and Sid Howe (RC – GOOD 2). For the remaining 23 cards, all of which are found in raw ungraded form, those seen as being in the EX condition range lead the way and include those of; 4-Blair, 5-Robinson (RC), 17-Mondou (RC), 18-Raymond (RC), 32-Chapman (RC), 44-Himes (RC) and 53-Kilrea (RC) while those in the scope of VG-EX condition include the cards of 10-Day (HOFer), 14-Burke (RC), 21-Gagon (RC), 24-Carson (RC), 35-Patterson (RC), 38-McVeigh (RC) and 63-Gracie (RC). Rounding out the collection, the cards of 2-Brydge (RC), 34-Hitchman, 46-Lepine (RC), 47-Levinsky (RC) 56-Dutkowski (RC), 60-Beveridge (RC) and 67-Roach are all in the grade range of VG with the cardboard of card #49 picturing Kenneth Doraty and #29 of Red Beattie are in the GOOD and PR range respectively.
