This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Offering a little bit of everything for everyone and sure to keep you entertained for a little while sorting through all the possibilities it presents, offered here is this 1980s to 2000s hockey card collection of 100+ cards that is highlighted by a 1987-88 O-Pee-Chee Patrick Roy second year card that has been graded as a MINT+ 9 by KSA and not one (1) but two (2) 1989-90 O-Pee-Chee Joe Sakic rookie cards that appear to be in the grade range of EX-MT to NM. For the rest of the lot, highlights include a pair of 1990-91 Upper Deck promo cards of Patrick Roy that were handed out by the company at the National Sports Card Convention in Arlington, Texas roughly four months before the products release. With one having been graded as a 10 Mint or Better by BCCG, the seems to be in the same grade neighbourhood and both humorously show the error of Roy being only six inches tall on the back. For the rest of the notables, which include a group of nine (9) 1996-97 Upper Deck SP “sample” cards of Wayne Gretzky, another error is included in the form of a 1990-91 Topps card of Mario Lemieux that is void of the front side image and has been graded a GEM MINT 9.5 by Beckett with subgrades of Centering 9.5, Corners 9.5, Edges 9.5 and Surface 9. For the rest of the group, various cards are present for Gretzky, Lindros, Shanahan, Orr, Howe, Roy and others with most of the lot appearing to be in the vicinity of EX-MT condition or better.
