Just 15-years-old during his second season with the Junior "A" Oshawa Generals in 1963-64, Bobby Orr scored 29 goals - a then record for defenseman. He would complete his four seasons in Oshawa with 280 points including 107 goals. Orr also made his debut on his first program cover with the Generals in 1963-64, and we have the original printing plate used to produce his image! At 14 1/2" x 17 1/2", Orr is pictured in his Oshawa uniform, with 25 cents below, with this matching the program image. The left side of the plate sports an ad for General Motors, presumably used in the same program. There is a bit of wear from use, with Orr's image clean and clear. A copy of the program recently sold at auction for just under $3000.00. What is the unique, one-of-a-kind printing plate worth?? Accompanying, we also have a copy of Orr's famous Maclean's magazine from Feb of 1965, with the superstar again pictured on the cover with Oshawa, along with a black and white print of the cover (the magazine shows light to moderate wear).
