Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/3/2023
A seven-time MLB All-Star with over 800 career stolen bases, Tim Raines spent over 20 years in the majors, and is best remembered for his dozen plus season with the Montreal Expos. We have a framed and signed batting glove used by Rock in the 1980s, along with a signed baseball. The glove is a left-handed Franklin model in Jays’ blue that shows use, mounted over the bottom portion of an oversized Expos Provigo card from 1986, set in an attractive shadow box to full dimensions of approx 12” x 15”. Raines has signed the top of the velcro strap in black marker, and the signature displays nicely. The ball is a Rawlings Official Major League example, and he’s signed over the sweet spot in blue ballpoint, with the desirable notation of “HOF 17” added. The signature has no issues, with the ball itself exhibiting just the lightest bit of handling wear and toning. A PSA/DNA COA will accompany for the glove’s signature, along with an SGC COA for the ball.
