Drafted 71st overall in the third round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Tomas Plekanec spent over a dozen seasons representing the Bleu Blanc Rouge, the centerman also captained the Czech Republic during the 2014 Winter Olympics. We have a Canadiens jersey that was worn by the Kladno native in 2013-14, and it’s been photo-matched. Size "58" tagging appears along the collar with handwritten “2”, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Plekanec” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. The team patch numbered “A03337” sits on the inside hem, while a hologram affixed to the reverse number “4” matches the accompanying LOA from the Canadiens.
Heavy use is visible, with dark marks over the front, reverse and sleeves, with moderate wear including scuffing to the team crest. There is also paint transfer in spots, with a small hole over the left cuff. We should also note that the cuffs have both been customized, with velcro added to each. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-matches, Getty Image #464689045 from Jan 8th 2014 has been matched to the black mark at the right of the "14" on the right sleeve, while Getty Image #463791543 from Jan 18th has also been matched to the black mark at the right of the "14" on the right sleeve, as well as to a number of marks on the front of the jersey.
