Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Winter 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/28/2023
The Overman Wheel Company began producing sporting goods in 1894 under the Victor trademark. Likely the only surviving example, this Victor model one-piece hockey stick originates from the very late 1800s or very early 1900s. At 47" in total length, and short shafted like all early sticks, the blade style is indicative of late-19th century models, with "Victor" branded into the upper shaft over the handle. Showing just light use, this is one of the rarest and best antique sticks we have ever offered. From the Brent Sobie antique hockey and baseball collection.
