Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023

Arguably one of the quickest skaters to ever grace NHL hockey rinks, Pavel Bure was selected 113th overall in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft by Vancouver, which proved to be a wise pick, with the Moscow native winning the Calder Memorial as top rookie in 1992. The model of stick used by Bure in 1994-95, 1995-96 and 1996-97, this particular game-used and signed example was originally obtained by Dino Ciccarelli for his father who is now deceased. A Bauer Composite model with inserted Bauer wood blade, "Bure" is visible under the handle tape, with the original white tape in place over the handle and knob (a few strands are missing, with outline visible), with no tape ever placed over the blade (the blade appears to possibly be new and never used, with the shaft showing game-use). Pavel has added a large and flowing silver paint pen signature across the front side of the blade, and it displays wonderfully. Hailing from the Dino Ciccarelli personal collection, a signed LOA from Dino Ciccarelli will accompany.
