Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
Enjoying a pair of 100+ point seasons with Pittsburgh, Kevin Stevens made appearances at three-straight All-Star Games from 1991-93, and hoisted Stanley Cups with the Pens in 1992 and 1993. From that highly successful era, we have a signed Penguins jersey worn by Stevens in 1992-93. A Maska Ultrafil label with handwritten “25” and a size “54” fly tag is affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the Pens team crest in use starting from this season until 2000-01, “25” in oversized tackle twill is sewn to the sleeves and verso, with the Stanley Cup centennial crest to the right breast. The jersey shows heavy use with marks, scrapes, pulls and burns visible throughout, with a few large slits on the edge of the left elbow. There is also some minor paint transfer to the right sleeve. Stevens has signed the team crest in black marker, with the signature displaying well.
