Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992 and 1990 respectively, Marcel Dionne and Gilbert Perreault combined to play 35 seasons in the National Hockey League and in 2017 both men were included on the NHL “100 Greatest Players in History” list. Offered here, is this collection of Dionne and Perreault hockey cards totaling 179 that date from the 1970s and 1980s. Starting with Dionne offerings, a 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee rookie card of the LA Kings legend is included that displays well but has its overall grade dropped to the vicinity of G due to indentation marks over the front from writing over the top of the card. Other cards include a total of five (5) 1972-73 offerings with four (4) being O-Pee-Chee brand cards and the other a Topps with the grades scopes including an EX and VG-EX to EX along with three (3) around VG. Lastly, in terms of the notables for Dionne, two 1973-74 O-Pee-Chee cards of Marcel are present, both in the vicinity of EX condition. Moving on to the Perreault offerings, the group includes a 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee Calder Trophy winners card that is found in the scope of G to VG with a crease at the bottom left corner and is followed up by a 72-73 O-Pee-Chee in the range of EX-MT, two (2) 73-74 O-Pee-Chee’s that are both around EX to EX-MT, four (4) 75-76 O-Pee-Chee’s that include two around EX-MT to NM, one in the vicinity of EX-MT and another in the range of G to VG. The last card of Perreault from the peak of the “French Connection” line is a 1976-77 O-Pee-Chee specimen that remains in the condition range of EX due to wax stains over the front. The bulk of the collection for each player includes numerous cards of most 1980s sets from both O-Pee-Chee and Topps with most in the range of EX to EX-MT condition.
