Acquiring a mind-boggling 5 Stanley Cups during the 1980s, Grant Fuhr would later take his talents to Toronto, Buffalo, Calgary and St. Louis. This signed Blues jersey was worn by the Spruce Grove Alberta native in his final season in Missouri, in 1998-99, and it’s been photo-matched. Center Ice and Starter labeling with a “58-G” size swatch is affixed to the collar, with embroidered Starter and NHL crests to the reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill Blues team crest, “31” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in tackle twill, with the fight strap intact (LHX is handwritten). Showing moderate use with a few marks visible and pilling to the outside right sleeve, the screened team patch resides on the inside hem and is mostly worn away, with a BlueNote Authentics hologram also affixed. Getty Image #394478 (Jan 13, 1999) has been matched to the particular shape of and outline of the "3" of "31" on the left sleeve, with the white threading visible at the top of the left bottom, and the blue threading visible at the bottom right of the left section. The white thread at the top left corner can also be seen. Additionally, the jersey has also been matched to the dark mark in the yellow band beneath the "1" of "31" on the right sleeve. A photocopy of an LOA from the Blues will accompany.
