Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Winter 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2023
Formerly known as the Arenas, the Toronto St Pats played in the NHL from 1919 to 1927 before being renamed the Maple Leafs. Stanley Cup champions in 1922, noteworthy players for the club included HOFers Harry Cameron and Babe Dye. The only example we here at Classic have ever seen, we have a 1920s St Pats enamel pin. Designed as a mini stick with attached ribbons - popular during the era - the enameling is in Toronto colours with "St Pats" across the blade. The pinback on the reverse is intact and functional, with no damage to the pin and the enameling presenting brightly. From the Brent Sobie antique hockey and baseball collection.
