Finishing his NHL career having won over half of his game’s played in the league, Swedish born netminder Henrik Lundqvist sits atop the table as the winningest goaltender in New York Rangers history having registered 459 wins with the Blueshirts. An Olympic gold medalist in 2006, offered here is this stick used by Lundqvist during the mid-to-late-2000s with the Rangers in practices and/or games. A TPS Response Lite model that was used by “Hank” during both the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons, Lundqvist is stamped to the upper shaft. Retaining its original white tape job over the blade, additional tape is found in the white and blue cloth over white on the handle/knob and blue cloth over the shaved hand grip at the upper paddle with both having been finished with white vinyl. Displaying with heavy game-use, puck marks are observed throughout the shaft, paddle and tapped section of the blade with wear to the blue paint and light red post paint transfer seen on the shaft/upper shaft. Additionally, a dent/chip is felt under the tape at the top edge of the heel and a trio of small chips/cracks are seen on the top edge of the paddle though not enough to affect the structural integrity of the stick. Used by one of the best goalies of the modern era, Henrik has signed the paddle on the forehand side with a bold silver ink signature that displays without issue.
