Selected 19th overall by the New York Rangers in 2009, Chris Kreider was a product of Boston College, and has represented the US internationally. A two-time All-Star, this lot includes a stick and helmet used by the Massachusetts native in 2014-15, and skates from the same era in the mid-2010s. The helmet is a Reebok model with intact visor and "20" decals to the forehead and lower reverse along with Rangers team emblems to each side. There is also an NHL decal and "Garden of Dreams" sticker, with a hologram affixed. The helmet shows use with numerous scratches to the surface and on the visor. The stick is a Bauer Vapor model with “Kreider” factory graphics, with the original black tape remaining on the blade and handle. There is also a bar code and serial number affixed to the underside along with a hologram to the lower shaft. Just very light game-use is exhibited on the composite stick, with a bit of wear to the taped section of blade. Lastly, the skates are Bauer Supreme models with Tuuk Light Speed blade holders, with "20" barcode decals to each blade holder, with additional codes affixed to the underside of each boot. Heavier use is shown to both the boots and blade holders, with wear to the material and numerous puck marks. The blades have also been removed. LOAs from Steiner will accompany for each item.
