A veteran of 757 National Hockey League games, Ryan Callahan would spend eight years with team that drafted him and be named the 26th captain of the New York Rangers on September 12th, 2011. Hailing from his first season as leader of the blueshirts, we offer this New York Rangers jersey worn by Callahan during the 2011-12 season including on February 25th, 2012 when he scored his 100th career NHL goal and it’s been photo-matched! Made by Reebok with a size “56” label affixed to the inner collar and a Rangers team inventory barcode heat pressed above, the crests of the NHL and Reebok adorn the front and back necklines of the tie neck garment respectively. Decorated over the front with the familiar “Rangers” in red-over-white layered tackle twill drop shadow letters with the captain's "C" over the left breast, the sleeves and verso have been accented with Callahan’s number “24” in matching style, with “Callahan” spelt out across the arched matching nameplate. Exhibiting light-to-moderate game-use, board burns are seen over both sleeves while stick marks are observed over the right sleeve, right hip, lower front and lower reverse. Additional wear is found via pulls near the right elbow and good pilling on the interior with the fight strap having had the number “2” penned to the underside of it in black marker.
Regarding the photo-matches, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #140122801 (February 25th, 2012 vs Buffalo) to the stick mark in the bottom white stripe on the right sleeve and the loose threads on the right sleeve number “4”. A Steiner hologram numbered “191715” is affixed inside the fight strap and is accompanied by a matching LOA.
