Currently in his eleventh season with the New York Rangers, the club that drafted him 19th overall at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Chris Kreider would join the Blueshirts for the 2012 NHL Playoffs and go on to set the record for most playoff goals before playing in a regular season game with five (5). Up for grabs here, is this Rangers jersey worn by Kreider during the 2014 Stanley Cup Finals. Made by Reebok, a size “58” flag tag is affixed to the collar, with a Rangers barcode affixed above along with a Steiner hologram while NHL and Reebok crests are found over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in blue-over-red drop-shadow tackle twill, the all-important 2014 Stanley Cup Finals patch resides over the right shoulder. The sleeves and verso of the jersey have been accented with Kreider’s number “20” in matching style with “Kreider” spelt out across the affixed arching nameplate. Displaying light game wear through a small number of dark stick marks over the front, both sleeves, sides and reverse, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #450250408 (June 7th, 2014 vs Los Angeles – Stanley Cup Finals Game 2) to the light stick marks to the left of the “R” and to the right of the “E” in Rangers over the front as well as to the stick mark near the right cuff. Of note, photos from Game 5 seem to show Kreider in a different jersey than the one presented here as there are different wear patterns observed. Additionally, Kreider has signed the reverse number "2" with a fine silver ink signature that displays without issue and has added annotations reading "2014 Stanley Cup Finals - Game Used" and "2014 Playoffs 5g-8a-13p". A Kreider Authentic hologram has been affixed alongside the signature and the piece comes with a matching Steiner LOA.
