Witnessing post-season action with the Blueshirts on five occasions, Ryan Callahan would play in seven playoff games for the New York Rangers in 2008-09, scoring 2 goals. This photo-matched Rangers jersey was worn by the New York state native during the 2008-09 regular season and first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Made by Reebok and sporting a single size “56” label affixed to the inner collar that has Callahan’s number “24” handwritten in blue ink, NHL and Reebok crests reside over the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest of the tie-neck garment in red-over-white drop-shadow tackle twill, the sleeves and verso have been accented with Callahan’s number “24” in matching style, with “Callahan” arched across the affixed matching nameplate. Showing nice game-use, there are a few faint burns visible, with a team repair and fabric pull to the left sleeve, and three team repairs to the lower right sleeve. Getty Image #86185156 (April 22, 2009, Round 1 Game 4) has been matched to the team repairs visible on the bottom right sleeve and near the elbow, with particularities to the threading on the "4" of "24" on the right sleeve also visible. A MeiGray patch is affixed to the inside hem, and according to the population report, the jersey is a "Blue - Set 3 / Playoffs" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
