Drafted 21st overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, John Moore has gone on to play 544 games over 12 National Hockey League seasons. Offered here, from his tenure in the Big Apple with the New York Rangers is this jersey worn by Moore during round one of the 2013 NHL Playoffs against the Washington Capitals. Made by Reebok, a size “56” flag tag is affixed to the collar, with a Rangers barcode affixed above along with a Steiner Sports hologram while NHL and Reebok crests reside over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in red-over-white drop-shadow tackle twill, Moore’s number “17” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Moore” spelt out across the affixed arching nameplate. Despite being worn for only three games, the jersey shows excellent game-use with team repairs near the reverse hem and the left elbow. Board burns are seen near the right elbow and over the left shoulder which has resulted in an unrepaired hole. A small stick mark is also observed between the “N” and “G” on the front of the jersey as are some light stains over the lower front. Additionally, the jersey is photo-matched with Getty Image #168627719 (May 12th, 2013 vs Washington – Game 6 ECQF) to the unrepaired hole on the back of the left shoulder. A Steiner LOA will accompany the piece.
