The 127th pick of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers, Ryan Callahan would spend eight National Hockey League seasons with the Blueshirts, serving as team captain for his final three seasons with the franchise. Offered here, is this AHL Hartford Wolfpack jersey worn by Callahan during his short 11 game stint in the minors during the 2007-08 season. Featuring AHL/Reebok tagging affixed to the collar as well as a size “56” flag tag, the front of the jersey is decorated with “Wolfpack” in drop shadow navy-over-white-over-red letters while a “The Hartford” sponsorship patch resides over the right breast. Displaying Wolfpack and Rangers patches affixed to the left and right shoulders respectively with Reebok patches over the reverse neckline and bottom hem along with an AHL crest, the sleeves and verso have been accented with Callahan’s number “24” in tri-layer tackle twill numerals with “Callahan” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer navy twill letters. Worn for just a handful of games, wear on the jersey remains light seen via a small number of board burns/stick marks to the sleeves, mostly the right one, while a couple of fabric pulls are observed near the lower front. A MeiGray Group patch has been sewn inside the rear hem and the jersey is accompanied by an AHL/MeiGray LOA stating that Callahan wore the jersey during the first half of the season.
