An excellent grouping that can be used as a jump start for anyone looking to build a vintage collection, offered here is this collection of over 200 1950s to 1980s Parkhurst, O-Pee-Chee, Topps and other brands hockey cards as well as 15 Shirriff coins to go along with the cardboard being offered. Chalked full of stars from the era including names like P. and T. Esposito, Sawchuk, Lindsay, Horton, Giacomin, Robert, Parent, Worsley, Lemaire and Beliveau, the group remains largely in the mid-grade VG/VG-EX condition range with some exceptions on both the better and worse side of things. Paced by complete sets of 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee All-Star crest inserts and 1986-87 Topps All-Star stickers, a group of 58 1972-73 cards is present, with 15 being from O-Pee-Chee and the rest hailing from Topps’ checklist. Key cards include star offerings from the previously mentioned 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee and Topps contingent including Guy Lafleur (VG/EX), Marcel Dionne (VG – Signed over the front), P. and T. Esposito (VG/VG-EX), and Gilbert Perrault (EX-MT – All-Star). Other cards include a 1957-58 Topps Ted Lindsay (VG/VG-EX), a 1966-67 Topps Bobby All-Star (VG-EX/EX), three Stan Mikita offerings from 1967-68 to 1968-69 (G/VG to EX-MT range), a 1967-68 Tim Horton All-Star (VG-EX/EX), a 1969-70 Topps Terry Sawchuk (G/VG), a 1970-71 Topps Jean Beliveau (VG/EX) and a 1975-76 Topps Larry Robinson (VG/EX). The Shirriff coins include ten (10) 1961-62 examples with names such as Bower, Mahovlich, Kelly, Hall and Pilote while the 1962-63’s total a pair, featuring George Armstrong and Jacques Plante. A pleasing group that is sure to keep our lucky winning bidder occupied for hours on end.
