Always a favourite and coveted among all collectors, rookie cards still find themselves as the most wanted pieces of cardboard in the hobby. Offered here, is a legend filled lot of five (5) with all the presented offerings being rookie cards. Headlined in both value and grade by a first issue #115 Bryan Trottier from Topps’ 1976-77 Topps set that has been deemed worthy of a NM-MT 8 mark from the graders at Beckett, two cards from Topps’ 1970-71 release are the next to be featured including #67 of Brad Park and #131 of Gilbert Perreault. With both having once again graded by Beckett, the Park rookie has earned a NEAR MINT 7 while the Perreault has earned an EXCELLENT+ 5.5. Two Hall of Fame goaltenders round out the group including an EXCELLENT+ 5.5 of card #21 in Topps’ 1965-66 set picturing Eddie Giacomin with subgrades on the label of Centering 8, Corners 5, Edges 8 and Surface 8 while last but not least is Bernie Parent, pictured over the front of card #89 as part of O-Pee-Chee’s 1968-69 set that has been graded GOOD 2. All housed in Beckett holders that display in good condition with just light scratches worth noting, the group is sure to make a healthy addition to the winner's collection.
