Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Winter 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/28/2023
Spanning from the early-1960s right through the 2000s, we offer this collection of NHL and other leagues official game and souvenir pucks totaling 86. Headlined by a pair of vintage Toronto Maple Leafs Stanley Cup Champions slugs from 1961-62 and 1963-64, both pucks show surface residue over both faces and the sides while the graphics on top show cracking and crazing with the 1961 example having some missing between 9 and 10 o’clock. Other pucks worth noting include a 1973-83 Viceroy Toronto Maple Leafs game puck with surface wear and staining to the Leafs crest, a 1962-64 AHL reverse logo only game puck with surface wear and chucks taken out of the edges on both sides and a 1969-72 Rochester Americans CCM reverse game puck with surface wear and a dent through the middle of the Americans logo. Other pucks include another early 1970s CCM Official League offering, eleven (11) OHA pucks, various NHL non-game pucks totaling nineteen (19) and forty-two (42) miscellaneous slugs to make up the rest of the lot. Conditions vary on the biscuits with issues found including wear to the sides, edges and faces along with scuffs, crazing, cuts, chips and logo flaws.
