Led behind the bench by legendary coach Scotty Bowman and captained by Al Arbour, the 1968-69 and 1969-70 St. Louis Blues would finish atop the NHL’s newly formed West Division in both seasons and make the franchise’s second and third trips to the Stanley Cup Finals in just their second and third years in existence. This pair of line-up pages from the 1968-69 and 1969-70 seasons taken from programs has been signed by various members of those teams. Measuring approx. 8 ½” x 11” each with both exhibiting light toning and surface wear with a rough-cut edge at one side, both sheets also exhibit pinholes at the top with adhesive residue on the reverse. Both signed in ballpoint pen, the 1968-69 sheet is signed by 12 including Bill McCreary, Scotty Bowman, Al Arbour, Doug Harvey, Noel Picard, Gary Sabourin, Bob Plager, Jim Roberts, Red Berenson, Ron Schock, Craig Cameron and Myron Stankiewicz. The 1969-70 sheet has been autographed by 9 including Al Arbour, Bob Plager, Phil Goyette, Jim Roberts, Jacques Plante, Bill McCreary, Andre Boudrias, Ray Fortin and Ron Anderson. All the autographs remain strong and legible with the signatures on the 1968-69 sheet displaying with some fading and lightness from age. A Classic Auctions LOA will accompany the piece.
