The youngest U.S. born player to reach the 1000-point plateau for their career, Patrick Kane owns a trophy case crammed full of awards including three Stanley Cups, the Conn Smythe, Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies, the Calder Memorial Trophy and the Ted Lindsay Award just to name a few. Hailing from the 2019-20 season that saw Kane register 84 points in 70 games played, we offer this stick used the 2007 1st overall pick that has been photo-matched! A Bauer Vapor FlyLite model with “P.Kane #88” graphics over the shaft, Kane’s original white grip is found over the handle and knob with white over the blade as well. Kane has added personal touches to the stick with a handwritten “88” on the frontside in black ink and a handwritten “56” on the backside of the handle grip, possibly denoting it as a stick from the 56th game of the season. A factory serial number sticker is affixed to the backside of the shaft, telling us that the stick was made during the 3rd week of 2020. Exhibiting light-to-moderate game-use, the blade tape shows multiple puck marks with the heel, lower shaft and upper shaft showing a small number of marks/abrasions. The shaft has been coated with a gripping agent that has since dried and left a residue. Additionally, Kane has signed the heel on the forehand side with a bold white ink signature that displays without issue.
Regarding the aforementioned photo-matches, the stick is matched with Getty Image #1201422810 (February 16th, 2020 vs Winnipeg) to the multiple chips/nicks at the upper shaft below the grip.
