Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Winter 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/28/2023
Having moved on from the Boston Bruins after the 1975-76 season, the game of hockey’s greatest defenceman, Bobby Orr, would finish his career with 26 games over two years in the Windy City with the Chicago Black Hawks. Offered here, is this Black Hawks jersey that has been signed by Orr. Made by CCM, “Vintage Hockey” and size “L” labels are affixed to the inner collar while the front of the bright red garment has been decorated with the famed Indian head crest and features embroidered details. Sporting matching tomahawk alternate logo patches over each shoulder, the sleeves and verso have been accented with Orr’s famous number “4” with “Orr” spelt out above in single layer white letters on the affixed twill nameplate. Remaining in new-with-tags condition, Orr has signed the reverse “4” with a blue ink signature that shows bleeding. A Great North Road hologram is affixed underneath and is accompanied by a matching COA.
