Nicknamed “The Brown Bomber”, Joe Louis is widely regarded as one of the as one of the greatest and most influential boxers of all time and reigning as the world heavyweight champion from 1937 until his temporary retirement in 1949. Victorious in 25 consecutive title defenses, a record for all weight classes, offered here is this collection of two cards the 1990 IBHOF inductee. Paced by a copy of Louis’ 1935 J.A Pattreiouex Sporting Event & Stars rookie card that has been recently received back from the graders at PSA, this particular copy has been deemed worthy of a respectable EX 5 designation. The second card, Joe’s 1938 FC Cartledge Famous Prize Fighters card is presented here in raw ungraded form. The glossy version, the card shows some light-to-moderate but even toning over the front and overall light wear to all four corners. Free from creases, the card falls into the grade range of VG to VG-EX in our opinions after inspection. A fabulous pair of cardboard offerings sporting the image of one of the best the world has ever seen, don’t miss out on these!
