Aside from a final 5-game swan song appearance with Phoenix in 2005-06, Brett Hull would conclude his career with Detroit, spending 3 seasons in Motor City in the early-2000s, which would include winning a Stanley Cup with the Wings in 2002. Currently 25th all-time in NHL points scored, we offer this stick used by Hull during the Red Wings Stanley Cup championship season of 2001-02. An Easton Z-Bubble model, “17 Hull” factory graphics appear over the shaft. Sporting its original red cloth-over-white tape on the handle/knob, the blade also retains its original black tape job. Additionally, Hull has added his children’s initals of “JJC” to the underside of the shaft near the blade in black marker along with “FLA” for Florida. The Red Wings only played the Panthers once that season on February 27th, with Hull registering 3 points (2A and 1G) including the game-winning goal in overtime. Light surface residue and marks are observed over the shaft of the stick while the blade shows some marks as well. The blade tape shows numerous marks on the forehand side with present over the backhand and bottom. Originally sold as part of ''The Brett Hull Personal Collection'', an LOA signed by Hull from the original lot of 4 sticks that this one was a part of will accompany the item.
