The 6th overall draft choice in 2007, Sam Gagner would spend eight seasons in Alberta with the Oilers along with additional stops in Arizona, Philadelphia, Columbus, Vancouver and Detroit and Winnipeg, his current team as of this writing. Hailing from his first tenue in Edmonton, we offer this Oilers jersey worn by Gagner during the 2010-11 season. Sporting size “56” and Elite Sportswear labels affixed to the inner collar, crests for the NHL and Reebok are found over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with the Oilers familiar crest that has embroidered and textured details, Gagner’s number “89” has been sewn to the sleeves and verso in tri-layer tackle twill numerals with “Gagner” across the affixed matching nameplate in matching style. Exhibiting good game-use, dark stick marks are seen over the front and both sleeves with a small unrepaired hole/cut seen over each sleeve as well. Numerous snags/pulls are seen over the sleeves and lower front with pilling behind the team crest on the interior as well. An Oilers team tag is sewn to the interior reverse hem with a MeiGray tag numbered “H01273” affixed along side it. According to their population report, the jersey is a “White Set 1” specimen. An Oilers LOA will accompany the jersey.
