A bronze medalist with Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics, Rene Bourque would enjoy an NHL career spanning 725 games despite going undrafted. Hailing from the 2009-10 season in which he posted his highest season points total of 58, we offer this Calgary Flames jersey worn by Bourque. Featuring a size “56” label affixed to the inner collar with Bourque’s number “17” handwritten above in black marker, crests for the NHL and Reebok are found over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated with the well-known Flames crest over the front in layered tackle twill, the franchise’s 30th anniversary patch is affixed to the right breast with the sleeves and verso having been accented with “17” in matching style with “Bourque” spelt across the affixed matching nameplate. Flag patches for the Province of Alberta and Canada reside over the right and left shoulders respectively. Exhibiting moderate game-wear, light stick marks are seen over both the sleeves and body with the sleeves also showing pilling, board burns and unrepaired holes. Additionally, a pair of team repairs are seen at the left shoulder. The interior of the jersey sports areas of pilling behind the team crest along with the elbows and cuffs. A MeiGray patch numbered “G01792” is affixed to the inner reverse hem and according to their population report, the jersey is a “White Set 2” specimen. A matching Flames LOA will accompany the piece.
