Currently an assistant coach with the Boston Bruins, the franchise he won a Stanley Cup with in 2011, Chris Kelly’s career started with the Ottawa Senators when they drafted him 94th overall in 1999. Spending eight years of his NHL career in the nation’s capital, offered here this Senators third jersey worn by Kelly during the 2005-06 season. Featuring a size “56” label affixed to the inner collar, crests for Reebok and the NHL decorate the reverse neckline and hem respectively. Styled with a layered tackle twill Senators team crest over the front that features textured and embroidered details, alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder. The sleeves and verso of the jersey have had Kelly’s number “22” sewn to them in dual layer white-over-red tackle twill while “Kelly” is spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer white twill letters. Sporting light-to-moderate game-wear, the jersey exhibits dark stick marks over the lower front hem and team crest as well as over the first “2” of the left sleeve numbers. Light board burns and a stick mark to the second reverse number "2" are also observed. A MeiGray patch numbered “C07510” is sewn to the inside of the reverse hem and according to their population report, the jersey is a “Third Set 1” specimen and a matching MeiGray LOA will accompany the piece.
