Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022

P. K. Subban's pizazz and exciting play contributed to his rapid ascension to elite status among NHL defencemen, with his personality also helping him to become a fan favorite in Montreal. The Toronto native copped the James Norris Trophy as the league's top d-man following his third season with the Habs, 2012-13. Perhaps the most sought after of all of Subban’s rookie offerings is this one being his 2010-11 Upper Deck The Cup rookie autographed patch card. P.K. has signed underneath his image with a crisp blue ink signature while the front of the card also features a beautiful swatch of patch from one of Subban’s game-worn jerseys that displays all three of the Canadiens iconic colours. Serial numbered “31/99”, this copy of the sought after card has been deemed worthy of a MINT 9 mark after inspection by the graders at Beckett, with subgrades on the front of the label reading Centering 9.5, Corners 8.5, Edges 9 and Surface 9. The back of the label shows a grade of “10” for the autograph. The card is housed in a Beckett holder that shows minor scratches and scuffs over both sides.
