Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
A four-time NHL All-Star thus far in his noteworthy career, Marc-Andre Fleury spent the 2021-22 NHL season with both Chicago and Minnesota after four seasons with the Vegas Golden Knights, with a trio of Stanley Cup champions won previously with the Penguins. This signed stick was used by the future HOFer in the mid-to-late-2000s, with this specific type of model seeing use in 2008-09 and 2009-10. A Reebok 6K model with "Fleury" stamped to the upper shaft, the stick retains the original white tape over the paddle and knob, with Fleury signing the upper paddle in black marker. Exhibiting heavy game-use with considerable wear to the blade tape including a littering of puck marks, there is a tear to the tape and wear to the underside, with additional marks to the paddle. There is also a chip to the upper shaft, along with a few traces of red paint transfer. This item is relisted from our Fall 2022 auction as Zack Donner from NY (USA) failed to honor his bid.
