Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
A two-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2016 and 2017, Carl Hagelin began his career with four years spent with the New York Rangers after being drafted by the Blueshirts 168th overall at the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. From his rookie season in the National Hockey League, we offer this Rangers jersey issued to Hagelin during the 2011-12 season. Made by Reebok, a size “56” flag tag is affixed the inner collar below a Rangers barcode while NHL and Reebok crests adorn the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in blue-over-red drop-shadow tackle twill, “62” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Hagelin” across the affixed arching nameplate. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in beautiful condition with just a small stain to the rear hem worth noting. A Steiner hologram numbered “14311” is affixed inside the fight strap and is accompanied by a matching LOA.
