Finishing second overall to Gordie Howe and the Detroit Red Wings in 1964-65, the Montreal Canadiens first defeated Toronto in the Stanley Cup semifinals before meeting Bobby Hull and the Chicago Black Hawks in the final. The series would go the full distance, with the Habs’ Gump Worsley shutting-out the Black Hawks 4-0 in the Cup-clinching seventh game. We offer an historic 1965 Montreal Forum Game 7 Stanley Cup finals program. Featuring goals all scored by HOFers including Beliveau, Richard, Cournoyer and Dick Duff, the program fittingly displays a black-and-white image of Duff on the cover along with the original purchase price of .35 cents while measuring roughly 8" x 11". Remaining complete at 48-pages, the centre line-up displays the date of May 1st, 1965 and the names of no fewer than 12 future HOF inductees. Remaining in excellent condition, the interior pages show light toning while the covers show light surface wear, creases/wrinkles and marks. The spine shows light wear with the staples remaining rust free. Stanley Cup Finals Game 7 programs rarely surface, especially from noteworthy championships.
