A rematch of the 1963 Stanley Cup Finals, the 1964 edition saw the two-time defending Stanley Cup Champion Toronto Maple Leafs once again defeat the Detroit Red Wings for their 3rd straight claim of Lord Stanley’s mug. Offered here, is a pair of Maple Leaf Gardens programs for game’s 1 and 7 of the 1964 Stanley Cup Finals. Displaying the original purchase price of .35 cents on each, black and white images of Frank Mahovlich and Dave Keon grace the blue and white decorated covers. Both booklets remain complete at 68-pages each with both having their centre line-up pages intact, displaying “Stanley Cup Finals – Series “C” First Game/Seventh Game” as well as the dates of April 11th and April 25th of 1964 and the names of no fewer than 17 future HOF inductees between the two clubs. Both programs display well, with light toning seen to the inside pages and only small flaws to the front cover. The Game 1 program shows light spine wear with a tear seen on the back cover while the Game 7 example has light surface wear and indents as well as small tear, some creasing and similar spine wear to its earlier series counterpart. Additionally, Dave Keon has signed the Game 7 program that he graces the cover of with a bold blue marker ink signature above his name that displays without issue and is accompanied by a COA. A ticket stub from the 7th Game is also included. Torn through the middle, the stub measures roughly 1 ¼” x 2 ½” and displays seat information as well as the upper portion of an artistic image of the Stanley Cup and a Stanley Cup Game 7 designation while the corners remain sharp and the edges shows light bleed from the blue ink on the back of the stub.
