Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
Often said to be one of the most visually appealing sets that Parkhurst ever put out, the 1963-64 release would be the company’s last. Alex Faulkner, after a one game stint with the Maple Leafs in 1961-62, was already in his second (and final) season with the Detroit Red Wings when his rookie cards were being pulled by kids out of packs. Earning the pleasing mark of NM 7 from those over at PSA, this copy of Faulkner’s rookie card, while off center left-to-right and lightly toned, displays excellent corners and colours with smooth edges. Graded years ago, the PSA holder shows numerous scratches and scuffs over both sides.
