The 46th season on play in the history of the Montreal Canadiens, the Habs finished 2nd in the NHL during the regular season, two points behind the Detroit Red Wings, who would defeat the Canadiens in seven games during the Stanley Cup Finals. Presented here, is this panoramic team photo of those 1954-55 Montreal Canadiens. Measuring approx. 20” x 8 ½”, the vintage period print is most likely from Famous Studios but does not have their stamp on the reverse of the piece. Showing HOFers Maurice Richard, Jean Beliveau, Boom Boom Geoffrion, Doug Harvey, Jacques Plante, Bert Olmstead, Dickie Moore, Tom Johnson and Butch Bouchard, the piece displays in good condition, with light edge and corner wear present, along with light toning around the edges on both the front and reverse. An excellent piece to add to any advanced Canadiens collection.
