Representing his nation at the first Canada Cup in 1976 while a member of the WHA’s Winnipeg Jets, Bobby Hull thrilled supporters with his performance at the inaugural tournament, scoring five goals including three game-winners to lead Team Canada to victory over Czechoslovakia in the finals. Offered here, is this team-signed game stick of Hull's from the historic 1976 Canada Cup tournament. A CCM made “Canada Cup 76” model with “Hull” stamped to the upper shaft and an intact striping accent over the lower portion, the stick has had a tape job of white-over-black applied over the shaved handle/knob and black over the hooked blade that were done, or redone at later date and are not Hull's original tape jobs, therefore we are offering it as a team-signed game stick. Exhibiting light examples of game-use, a few dark marks are seen over the shaft with additional marks observed over the blade tape as well. A team-signed example signed by 22 including Orr, Clarke, Sittler, Leach, Dionne, McDonald, P. Esposito, Blake, Potvin, Mahovlich, Martin, Vachon, Perreault, Gare (x2), Shutt, Robinson, Vadnais, Cheevers, Cherry, Pollock, Savard, and one other. The autographs have been penned in a mix of blue ballpoint pen as well as red and black marker with all displaying well with the pen autographs displaying lighter from age.
