A product of the famous University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux hockey program, defenceman Rick Zomba spent 12 seasons in the NHL, shared amongst Detroit, Boston and St Louis, before moving on to coaching with Lindenwood University. Offered here, we have this St. Louis Blues jersey worn by Zombo during the 1994-95 season. Made by CCM, both Maska and size “54” tags are affixed to the inner collar along with a “Center Ice Authentic Collection” label that is seen above while the emblems of CCM and the NHL shield have been embroidered over the reverse hem. Styled over the front with the Blues team crest fully administered in layered tackle twill with “St. Louis” sewn on, matching alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder. Zombo’s number “4” appears over the sleeves and verso while “Zombo” is spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer blue twill letters. A Blues Custom Crafted team stamp denoting the jersey as a “1st Set 1994-95 Season” specimen is found inside the rear hem alongside a “BlueNote Authentics” hologram that has been affixed. Exhibiting light game-use via a few stick marks and board burns over the sleeves, front and reverse, a small unrepaired cut is seen to the right of the “4” on the back while a board burn over the right elbow has resulted in a hole through the first layer of material. Of note, the nameplate has started to yellow on the reverse and staining not associated with game-use is present at the left cuff and back of the left hip.
