Montreal’s third round draft choice at the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, Craig Rivet would play 12 of his 16 seasons with the Canadiens with additional time spent with Buffalo, San Jose and Columbus. Offered here, we have this Buffalo Sabres jersey worn by Rivet during the 2009-10 season. Featuring a single size “56” label affixed to the inner collar, crests for the NHL and Reebok adorn the front and back necklines respectively. The front is styled with a partially embroidered Sabres crest while the chest, sleeves and verso have been accented with dual-colour tackle twill numbers of Rivet’s “52”. Matching alternate logo patches are placed over each shoulder while the distinguished captain’s “C” has been sewn to the left breast. “Rivet” is spelt out in single layer white letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Sporting light game-use, board burns are seen over each sleeve, the right hip, right shoulder and the reverse while a small stick mark is seen over the right elbow as well. Signed over the fight strap on the interior by Rivet with a black ink signature, a Sabres 2009-10 team tag is sewn over the interior reverse hem.
