Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022

An NHL veteran of 444 games played, Patrick Lalime is best remembered for his time in Ottawa, leading the Senators in numerous playoff runs throughout his tenue in Canada’s capital city. Signed by Buffalo before the 2008-09 season, the Sabres would be the last stop in Patrick’s 12-year NHL career. Hailing from the 2008-09 season, we have this Sabres jersey worn by Lalime. Made by Reebok, “Goalie Style” and size “58” tags are affixed to the inner collar while logos of the NHL shield and Reebok adorn the front and back necklines respectively. The front is styled with a partially embroidered Sabres crest while the chest, sleeves and verso of the solid navy garment have been accented with dual-colour tackle twill numbers of Lalime’s “40”. “Lalime” is spelt out in single layer yellow letters across the affixed matching nameplate. The jersey shows light game-use in the form of a handful of puck marks seen on over the front and sleves. A Sabres team tag resides on the inner hem, denoting the jersey a “2008-2009 Official Game Jersey”.
