The first MLB team in almost half a century to go through the entire season without being swept in a single series, the Toronto Blue Jays finished first in the American League East at the conclusion of the 1992 season and defeated the Atlanta Braves to claim the first Fall Classic north of the border. This baseball has been team-signed by the 1992 World Series champion Blue Jays. An Official Rawlings 1992 World Series sphere, 28 have signed in blue ballpoint pen, including HOFers Dave Winfield and Roberto Alomar, along with Jimmy Key, Pat Hentgen, Devon White, Dave Stieb, David Cone, David Wells, Cito Gaston (manager), Kelly Gruber, Joe Carter, Ed Sprague, Tom Henke, Todd Stottlemyre, Gene Tenace (coach), Pat Borders, Larry Hisle (coach), Juan Guzman, Jack Morris and others. The autographs display well for the most part despite being bunched up, with some appearing lighter than others while the ball exhibits light toning in areas and some wear to the Rawlings logo on the top panel. A 7 ¼” x 8” plastic display case with plaque to display the ball is also included. The piece comes accompanied by a JSA LOA.
