The brainchild behind well known films and franchises such as American Graffiti and Indiana Jones, George Lucas’ greatest achievement in film is the Star Wars franchise which has become the second highest grossing film franchise as of this writing. Included in this lot, is a framed display containing a photo signed by Lucas as well as piece of the Death Star prop used in “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope”. Housed in a sleek black frame, with wear and dings to the edges and corners, full dimensions equal 16 ¾” x 22 ½”. Highlighted by an 8” x 10” image of Lucas at the top of the display, the creative mastermind has signed the photo with a black ink signature that displays without issue and is accompanied by a JSA LOA. Underneath the photo, a piece of prop used for the Death Star used in the first Star Wars film is found with an information plaque underneath. With all the contents displayed under mattes of textured black and grey, the Star Wars logo is stenciled onto the glass. Additionally included, is a second framed photo display, this time capturing Anakin Skywalker actor, Hayden Christensen. Measuring full dimensions of 24 ½” x 18 ½”, two photos of magazine covers are exhibited, with the right one having been signed by Christensen with a black ink signature that displays with no flaws. Housed in a black wooden frame that shows wear to the edges and corners, a silver information plaque is found at the bottom of the piece. It should be noted that the signed photo has shifted in the frame and that it is also accompanied by a JSA LOA.
