The greatest Formula One driver to come from Canada, Jacques Villeneuve won the 1997 Formula One World Championship, registering seven wins and eight podiums. Offered here is this lot including a dual-signed framed display of Villeneuve and Michael Schumacher’s infamous incident at the 1997 European Grand Prix. Measuring full dimensions of 18 ¼” 27 ¼”, an information plaque at the top of the display is present while below, a dual-signed 8” x 12” photo, double matted under red and blue, is found of the two competitors. Both have signed the image near their respective car with black ink signatures that display without issue. The bottom of the display takes the cake, with model cars depicting the incident between the two drivers. Everything is housed in a sleek black metal frame that shows light wear and scratches to the edges and corners. Additionally included, is a second signed framed image of Villeneuve. The piece measures 8” x 10” and is a promo card from his 1995 season as a member of Team Green Racing. Jacques has signed the card with a black ink signature that displays without issue while a plaque underneath lists his name. Housed in a black plastic frame that shows wear, full dimensions measure approx. 16” x 16”. Both pieces are accompanied by JSA LOA’s.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for damage to frames that occur during shipping.
