Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
A member of the Triple Gold Club, having won the Stanley Cup, World Championship and Olympic gold medal, Scott Niedermayer spent parts of 18 seasons in the NHL, with the Conn Smythe Trophy won in 2007 along with five appearances made at the All-Star Game. Hailing from the latter part of his career is this stick used by Niedermayer during the 2007-08 season. A Warrior Dolomite model with “Niedermayer” factory graphics over the shaft, Scott’s original tape job of white over the handle/knob and black on the blade is still present. The backside of the shaft shows a stamped serial number while Niedermayer has penned a bold silver ink signature to the frontside heel with the autograph displaying without issue. Sporting light game-use, marks are found on the blade tape with similar marks/abrasions found on the other areas of the blade along with the heel and lower shaft. Light wear is also found over the taped handle.
