Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
The first European-trained player to win the Hart Memorial Trophy, Sergei Fedorov is widely regarded as one of the modern era’s most talented players, with three Stanley Cup championships won along with appearances at six NHL All-Star Games. Hailing from the early-2000s, is this stick used by Fedorov with the Detroit Red Wings. An Innovative 1100 model, “Fedorov 5/200” appears stamped to the shaft with Sergei’s original white tape job residing over the handle/knob and blade. The top of the inserted Christian blade is also stamped with “Fedorov”. Sergei has signed the blade of the stick with a black ink signature that displays well despite some fading from age. The stick shows moderate game-use with marks to the blade tape and marks/abrasions to the heel and shaft, including red paint transfer.
