Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
The 49th overall pick by the Nashville Predators in 2003, Shea Weber would spend a total of 11 years in The Volunteer State patrolling the blueline of the Preds, serving as captain for six seasons. Hailing from the 2013-14 campaign, we have this stick used by Weber. A Bauer TotalOne NXG model, “Weber” factory graphics are seen on the shaft with Weber’s original tape of white over the handle/knob and black on the blade is still present. A handwritten “6” is seen on the knob/handle tape while a factory serial number sticker telling us that the stick was made in the 41st week of 2013 is affixed to the backside of the shaft. Exhibiting light-to-moderate game-use, the blade tape shows marks and tears along the bottom edge while other marks/abrasions are seen on the heel and lower shaft. Additionally, Weber has signed the blade with a silver ink signature that appears without issue.
