Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
Two premier high adrenaline players of the Toronto Blue Jays in the early-2010s, Jose Bautista and Brett Lawrie are featured here in this lot of signed items from the two sluggers. Leading off, is a bat signed by noted home-run hitter, Jose Bautista. A Rawlings Adirondack model, “Joey Bats” has signed a blue ink signature between the barrel stampings that displays without issue and has added a “54 HR” notation underneath as a nod to the amount he hit during the 2010 season. The bat remains in excellent condition with no flaws and a partially ripped off UPC sticker on the barrel while a hologram from BBC is also found. Rounding out the collection is a Brett Lawrie signed and framed photo display. Housed in a black frame that shows slight wear the edges and corners and measuring out to a total of 25 ½” x 28 ½”, Lawrie has signed the 16” x 20” image with a silver ink signature that displays well with lightness in areas. Double matted, the piece is accented by a silver plaque displaying “Brett Lawrie #13” and “Toronto Blue Jays” while being flanked on either side by Blue Jays pins. Both pieces have JSA stickers affixed and are accompanied by matching COA’s.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for damage to frames that occur during shipping.
